Megantic’s First Voyage

When the new Shaw Savill
cargo liner Megantic (12,226 tons) sails on her maiden voyage from the Tyne to New Zealand on December 28 she will be loaded with ballast. She will load a full cargo of lamb, butter, cheese and wool for Britain.
