Kenneth More, Underwriter
(Special Crspdt. N.ZP.A.) LONDON, Dec. 17. Another well-known name appears in the latest list of underwriting members of Lloyds—that of the actor, Kenneth More.
Before being elected as an underwriter be had to make the traditional “show of wealth" of £75,000. “I took this step to provide security for my old age,” Mr More told the “Daily Mail.” ‘‘Actors don’t draw pensions you know. We have to provide for ourselves when we are in our dbtage. I know very little about Lloyd’s or any other form of business really. When I buy shares they plunge immediately, but I gather that being ah underwriter should provide me with a very reasonable income in my later years. "I realise that if there is some enormous disaster, I could be liable fbr every penny I own, but I don’t think it much of a risk. I am no gambler.”
