Minor Fires

A chimney fire in a house occupied by Mr H. Gunn at 261 A Cashel street was attended by one unit from the Central fire station at 4.42 pun. yesterday. There was no damage. A shed on a property occupied by Mr W. C. D. Glasgow at 14 Tuawera terrace, Sumner, was slightly damaged by a grass fire at 5.36 pm. Units from the Sumner and Woolston fire stations attended. A motor-mower was severely damaged by fire in a • wooden shed in the Woolston Primary School grounds at 5.37 pm.
