Press Assn.—Copyrmlit) MELBOURNE, Dec. 13 The controversial fast bowler. lan Meckiff—who was accused of throwing during the previous M.C.C. tour of Australia —will make his first appearance against the current touring team for Victoria at Melbourne tomorrow The State captain and test opener. W. La wry, heads a side with strong batting potential, including I. Redpath, who has been showing fine form. A leg-spin bowler. K. Kirby, returns after being dropped from the Victorian side last season. England's leading batsman and captain E. R. Dexter, and the heavy-scoring K R. Barrington. have been left out of the tourists’ team. The teams are:— M.C.C.—M. C. Cowdrey (captain*, D. S. Sheppard, G. Pullar. P. H. Parfitt. T. W. Gtyveney, D. R, Knight, A. C. Smith. R. Illingworth, D. A. Allen. J. B. Stetham. L. Coldwell. F. Titmus is 12th man. Victoria—W Lawry (captain). I. Redpath, J. Potter. R. Cowper, N. West. W. O'Halloran. R Jordan. C. Guest, K. Kirby, I. Meckiff, A. Connolly. K. Stacpole is 12th man.
