Miss Davidson Top Seed In N.Z. Women’s Singles

WELUNGTON, Dec. 13. L. A. Gerrard (Auckland) and Miss J. Davidson (Canterbury), the present New Zealand champions, head the seeding for the 1963 national lawn tennis titles at Auckland from January 12 to 19. The seedings were made by the national selectors (Messrs M. C. Healey, A. S. Burns, and J. R. Bentley) for the first time, and were not taken from the previous season’s ranking lists. J. E.
