Found Floating In Harbour

(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 13. A married middle-aged woman, found floating in the Manukau harbour, eight miles from the Onehunga wharf, was rescued by two fishermen at 7 a.m. today. She id she had been in the water for seven hours. She is Mrs J. Jeffries, of Aldersgate road, Hillsborough, who was admitted to Auckland Hospital suffering from exposure and cold. Mrs Jeffries told her rescuers, in the launch Lady Joan, that she did not know how she got into the water. Her rescuers were Mr I’. Smith, of Onehunga. and Mr R. Purdue, of Papatoetoe.
