Net profit of the Wellington Publishing Company. Ltd,, publisher of the “Domimion”, fell by £35.617. or 29.2 per cenit. to £86.421 during the year ended September 30. The latest result represents an earning rale of 9.6 per cent, on shareholders’ funds of £904.989. It was reached after provision of £83.484 for taxation, a decline of £39.471, and depreciation £5802 higher at £30.276. The 1961 profit of £122.038 was a record. The dividend has been maintained at 10 per cent, and again requires £30,000.
