Technical College

Cheerfulness, good health and the proper use of leisure were the major ingredients of a happy life, Mr S. R. Cuming, a retired school teacher, told pupils and parents at the breakup ceremony of the Christchurch Technical College yesterday. Gratitude, the rarest of all virtues, he urged pupils to cultivate, also courtesy. "The lives of all of us depend a great deal on the goodwill of other people.” he said.
