Golf Non-Playing Captain
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, December 12. Britain will have a nonplaying captain in next year’s Ryder Cup golf match against the United States at Atlanta, Georgia from October 11 to 13. This was announced in London yesterday by the secretary of the Professional Golfers’ Association (Colonel Harry Reed). Empire Tournament (N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. December 12. The Lucifer Golfing Society of London, which has the Duke of Gloucester as its president and the Duke of Edinburgh as its patron, is to hold its twenty-seventh British Empire and Commonwealth tournament and dinner in June. 1963. Golfers from all parts of the Commonwealth are being invited to attend.
