SKOGLUND VASE
Burnside H.S. Wins Summer Tournev Bumside High School won the summer tournament against Aranui High School for the Skoglund Vase. Swimming was incorporated into the tournament for the first time. Results were:— Swimming. Aranui High School 94 points. Bumside High School 88 points. Softball.—Girl: Aranui High School 36, Burnside High School 9. Boys: Burnside High School 22, Aranui High School 8. Tennis.—Junior girls: Bumside H.S. 4 sets. Aranui H.S. 2 sets. Junior boys: Bumside H.S. 4 sets. Aranui H S. 2 sets. Senior girls: Aranui H.S. 4 sets,’ Bumside H.S. 2 sets. Senior boys: Bumside H.S. 6 sets, Aranui H.S. 0 sets.
Cricked.—Bumside 126 for two drew with Aranui 51 for five.
