Rowing IMPRESSIVE RACING

Canadians Win Two Events

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Dec. 12. The touring Canadian rowing team gave three impressive displays on the Waikato river today when they met rowing teams from Auckland and Waikato. In the pair event the Canadians found the change from open sea to the current in the river too tricky, and finished third. Waitamata won the event by half a length from Ngaruawahia.

The Canadian fours and eights handled the conditions much better. The fours beat West End and Hamilton byhalf a length and a length respectively, while the eights won comfortably by one length and a quarter from Waikato, with West End two feet away in third place.
