Kings Bridge For Repair
<.V ZJ 1 A.-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, December 12. The fallen span of Melbourne’s new £4,000,000 “oroken bridge is to be replaced." The Metropolitan Board of Works has announced that tenders will be called for the demolition of the collapsed span of Kings Bridge and for a supply of new girders. The work is expected to cost more than £300,000.
The span collapsed on July 10 after a transporter carrying a 38-ton power shovel passed over it
