Forecast:— Marlborough and Nelson.—Fresh north-westerlies at times about Cook Strait; fine; warm temperatures. Outlook: cloudy with occasional rain likely in Nelson. • Canterbury.—Moderate north-easterlies near the coast, moderate north-wester lies inland; fine; high temperatures inland, mild to warm near the coast. Outlook: partly cloudy. Buller and Westland.—Light to moderate northerly winds; cloudy, with some scattered light rain developing in South Westland; temperatures mild. Outlook: occasional ram.
