WORE MASK AT NIGHT

Youth Given Gaol Term (N.Z. Press Association} NAPIER, Dec. 5. On a charge of unlawfully wearing a mask by night, John James Moore, aged 21, a process worker, of Napier, was gaoled for six months by Mr Justice Haslam in the Supreme Court at Napier today. The term is to be followed by a year's probation. Moore pleaded not guilty to the charge last month, but was convicted by a jury. Mr G. E. Bisson, for the Crown, said the case was serious. "Moore made an unauthorised invasion of a young woman’s bedroom at night,” said Mr Bisson. “In the public view, this offence causes concern and alarm.”

While on bail after being convicted. Moore defied the .Court's directions. Moore was Insolent and impudent with the police.
