Racing car drivers from seven countries will compete in East London on December 29 for this year’s ninth and deciding international grand prix, the Associated Press reports. The major tussle will be between two British stars, Graham Hill and Jim Clarke—either of whom will be the world champion, if he wins. Other competitors include: Richie Ginther (United States). Jack Brabham (Australia), Bruce McLaren (New Zealand), Tony Maggs (South Africa—driving under British flag), John Surtees (Britain), Roy Salvador! (Britain). Innes Ireland (Britain), Count de Beaufort (Holland), and Gary Hocking (Rhodesian Federation).

New Operation For Moss ( N.Z.P.A.-Reut er—Copyright) LONDON. Nov. 30. The British racing car driver, Stirling Moss, had another eye operation in London yesterday. Doctors at St. Thomas’ Hospital said the surgery aimed “to cure any remnants of double vision.’’ The operation, which concerned bone grafting in the area of the left eye, was understood to have been successful. Moss, aged 33, was seriously injured in a high-speed race crash at Easter.
