December 17, 1962. die Authority will, pursuant to Section 26 and 27 of the Air Services Licensing Act, 1951. consider applications by the NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL AIRWAYS CORPORATION for the renewal, and amendment ot the Corporation’s Air Service Licences as follows: (1) Renewal ot Air Service Licences Nos. 7,8, 21. 99, 100, 101, 102, 105 and 189. (2) Amendment of Air Service Licences Nos. 7,8, 21. 99, 100, 101, 103. 103, 105 and 189. And their consolidation into 5 classifications as under:— (a) General Licence Authorising Scheduled Passenger and Freight Services in both Directions as under:— Routes over which Licensee may operate, and minimum frequencies. 1. AUCKLAND - WHANGAREI (previous licence No. 21)— Three times daily, Monday to Saturday inclusive. 2. AUCKLAND - KAIKOHE - KAITAIA (previous licence No. 21)—Once dally, Monday to Saturday inclusive. 3. AUCKLAND-PALMERSTON NORTH - WELLINGTON - CHRISTCHURCH - DUNE-DIN-INVERCARGILL (previous licence No. 214+101 + 102)—PM/CH once daily, Monday to Sunday inclusive. AK/WN/CN/DN three times daily, Monday to Saturday inclusive. DN/IN twice daily. Monday to Saturday Inclusive. AK/WN/CH, twice daily, Sunday only. CH/DN/IN, once daily Sunday only. 4. AUCKLAND-TAURANGA - WHAKATANE, GISBORNE-NAPIER-PALMERSTON N. WELLINGTON (previous licence No. 21 + 99)—AK/TG/ GS/NR/PN/WN, once daily Monday to Sunday inclusive. AK/TG/WHAK/GS, once daily. Monday to Saturday inclusive. 5. AUCKLAND - NEW PLY-MOUTH-WANGANUI, WELLINGTON (previous licence No. 21) —Once daily, Monday to Sunday inclusive. 6. WELLINGTON-BLENHEIM-CHRISTCHURCH (previous licence No. 103+102)—Once daily, Monday to Saturday inclusive. 10. WELLINGTON - NELSONWESTPORT (previous licence No. 7)—Once daily, Monday to Saturday inclusive. 11. WELLINGTON - NELSON (previous licence No. 103) — Twice dally, Monday to Sunday Inclusive. 12. WESTPORT - HOKITIKA (previous licence No. 7) — Once daily, Monday. Wednesday and Friday. 13. WELLINGTON - BLENHEIM (previous licence No. 7 + 103) —Twice dally, Monday to Sunday inclusive. 14. CHRISTCHURCH - TIMARU (previous licence No. 21)— Once daily, Monday to Friday inclusive. CH/TU only Sunday. TU/CH only Saturday. Subject to the following special conditions:—

(a) Licensee shall operate each of the above services in accordance with the minimum frequency as at the date of this advertisement. Licensee may in its discretion reduce minima as traffic circumstances may require for a period not exceeding 28 days. (b) Provided that condition (a) is duly observed, Licensee may in addition: (i) Fly any section of any route as circumstances may require. (11) Fly directly between any two points on any one route as circumstances may require. Aircraft used: 4 Viscount 807 seating 66 (including Pilot) 8 Fokker Friendship seating 45 (including Pilot). 13 Douglas DC3 seating 30 (including Pilot). 1 Douglas DC3 seating 31 (Including Pilot). 2de HavHland 89 seating 7 (including Pilot). The present scale of fares and time-tables will continue in force as will the special and general conditions of the previous licences, modified only to such extent as may be necessary in consequence of consolidation, (b) GENERAL LICENCE AUTHORISING NON" - SCHEDULED SERVICES (Passenger and Freight Services) (Previous Licence No. 189). The licence will authorise operation of non-scheduled passenger and freight services between any licensed aerodrome in New Zealand excepting south of Hokitika on the West Coast of the South Island. Matamata. Taupo, Masterton, Oamaru, Alexandra, Cromwell, Mount Cook and Te Anau. Aircraft used; as In (A) above. (C) GENERAL LICENCE AUTHORISING PASSENGER AIR CHARTER SERVICE (Previous Licence No. 189). The licence will authorise operations (by way of charter of the aircraft) to and from any licensed aerodrome or authorised place in New Zealand with the exception of those flights which originate at Hokitika for points on the West Coast south of Hokitika and vice versa, or which return to Hokitika as the point of original departure without an intermediate stop, and Mount Cook and Te Anau. Aircraft used: as in (A) above. The present scale of charter rates will continue in force, as will special and general conditions of the previous licences, modified only to such extent as may be necessary in consequence of consolidation. (D) GENERAL LICENCE AUTHORISING FREIGHTER NON - SCHEDULED SERVICES (previous licences Nos. 8 and 105). The licence will authorise operation of non-scheduled freight services to and from any licensed aerodrome in New Zealand capable of being operated by a DC3 Freighter Aircraft. Aircraft used: 6 Douglas DCS Freighter Aircraft, x The present scale of freight rates will continue in force as will the special and general conditions of the previous licences, modified only to such extent as may be necessary in consequence of consolidation (E) GENERAL LICENCE AUTHORISING FREIGHTER AIR CHARTER SERVICE (previous Licences Nos. 8 and 106). The licence will authorise operation (by wav of charter of the aircraft) to and from any licensed aerodrome or authorised place in New Zealand capable of being operated by DC3 Freighter aircraft. Aircraft used: as in (D) above. The present scale of charter rates will continue in force, as will the special and general conditions of the previous licences modified only to such extent as may be necessary In consequence of consolidation.
