More Pay For U.K. Police
(NX. Preu Ann.—Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 29. Britain's 80.000 policemen are to get rises which will cost the Government an ex’ra £4,500,000 a year. The rises will range from £3B a year for a probationer cc_stable to £B6 a year for a chief inspector, the “Daily Express” said.
