Garden Circle’s Gift To Club
The Canterbury Women's Club garden circle held its annual meeting recently and presented the club with a three-tiered tea waggon. Circle officers were elected as follows: director, Mrs C. G. Manhire: secretary. Miss A M. Black; treasurer, Mrs L V. Gain.
Cups, awarded annually, were presented to the following: decorative, A section, Brasmuseen Cup. Mrs G. Finney; decorative B, Denis Watson Cup. Mrs E. Lodge; Gladioli Cup, Mrs Finney; Tjlihka, Daffodil and Rose Cups. Mrs E.- E. Weston; Chrysanthemum Cup. Mrs J.
Roud; most points throughout the year. Mrs East Trophy. Mrs Finney: Mrs W. H. Pester s prize for posy bowl competition, Mrs L. Wood; Mrs Wood’s prize for small vase competition, Mrs E. Seward.
