Rifle Shooting CHRISTCHURCH CLUB
Three-Range Competition The Christchurch Rifle Club fired the third three-range competition at Tai Tapu. Condition* were seven shot* and two optional sighters each at 300. SOO. and 600 yards. A strong north-easterly wind, which was blowing with gale force at times, wrecked many promising totals. R. Carrington, who with his handicap scored 103 out of a possible 10S. was the winner. A. Kingsbury was second, and R. E. Taylor from scratch was in third place. The latter scored a good possible at SOO yards. Results were:—
