HOKITIKA TODAY
French Tray In Form (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. Nov. 25. Tbe off-course double on the second day of the Westland Racing Club’s spring meeting at Hokitika tomorrow will be on the L. F. Hogg Memorial Handicap and the Lake Mahinapua Hack Handicap. Rain today will alter track conditions. It was continuing this evening and showers are predicted tomorrow. French Tray, which was not started yesterday, relishes an easy’ track and he should be hard to beat in the first leg. He is likely to be R. J. Skelton’s mount. Skelton rode Lola yesterday. Another horse to relish the easing conditions will be Master Conclusion in the second leg. He has a good weight but being a big horse, he should not be unduly handicapped.
