AUCKLAND, Nov. 25. At the expense of Tatua. Blyton and seven others, Rapido won a handsome victory in the Waikato Guineas at Te Rapa yesterday. In quick time his rider, W. J. Rapido bad not previously met the other good three-year-olds in force, That ha beat them ao dearly entitle* him to very high ranking. Rapido has now finished first in four vigit* to the races this seeecn. One of the occasions wag when he ran from the false start in the Cambridge Handicap on the first day of the Waikato meeting. His other wins were in ■print* at Ellerslie. Rapido required less than a furlong to shake off Sparkling Romance and take a clear lead. Coming to the straight he was out by a length and a half and with his rider managing him very kindly. He went on smoothly to win in Imin 38sec —onefifth of a second outside the race record shared by Grasher and Castlerae.
