P. Philpott. Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics. Applications are called for initial appointments to the following positions:— (a) SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER OR RESEARCH OFFICER to work in field* relating to agricultural production economics. (b) SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER OR RESEARCH OFFICER to work in fields related to the marketing of New Zealand agricultural products. (c) RESEARCH OFFICER to work in the field of interindustry studies with special reference to the agricultural sector. (d) RESEARCH ASSISTANT to work in the field of land use and land development with special reference to agriculture and forestry. QUALIFICATIONS: for (a) and (b): A degree in economics, or agricultural economics, or mathematics with some knowledge of economics and experience in economic research. (c) A degree in economics or agricultural economics with some experience in social accounting or econometrics.
