GRAND PRIX CROWDS

Control By Dogs Proposed (NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Nov. 19. Thirty-five Aleatian dogs and their handlers will patrol the new grand prix track at Pukekohe from the Friday night before the meeting in January. They will be used foe crowd control on the day of the race. Insurance has been taken out against the dogs biting anyone.

The Grand Prix organisation heard tonight from the company which will manage the crowd control and which has hired the dogs from a dog club. Last year the organisation used 20 dogs at Ardmore to protect property at night-time. The dogs have been trained in crowd control.
