Mr Bunchana Atthakor, director of the Thai Technical and Economic Co-operation Unit, will arrive in Christchurch on Thursday to visit the Engineering --School and Lincoln College. He will leave for Auckland the same day. The unit is responsible for economic planning in Thailand.

Mr A. R. Low, deputyGovemor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, with Mr E. Wilson, of the Reserve Bank of Australia, and Mr E. C. Robinson, Christchurch branch manager of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, will be entertained at morning tea by the president (Mr R. H. Stewart) and some council members of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association next Monday. Mr H. Watt, M.P. for Onehunga, is a patient to the Mater Misericordia Hospital in Auckland and will undergo an operation on Thursday. He does not expect to be back in Parliament this session.—(P.A.)
