(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 American ships and aeroplanes have tracked more than 10 Soviet submarines in the Caribbean since the United States blockade of Cuba began on October 24. according to informed sources in Washington. They dad not say exactly when the submarines were detected, but it was believed that it was in the early days of the blockade.

Shooting Denied.—The Ethiopian Ambassador (Mr N. M. Andomi denied in Cairo that he was involved in the shooting of three people during a demonstration outside the Ethiopian Embassy. A policeman and two Eritrean students were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds after the demonstration, touched off by reports from Addis Ababa that the Eritrean Legislative Assembly had voted to unite with Ethiopia—Cairo, Nov. 19.,
