Cases Heard In September Borstal training was ordered by Mr E. S. J. Crutchley. S.M., in the Children’s Court during September for a boy of 15 who appeared on charges of theft and unlawfully taking motorcars. A girl, aged 18. appeared on a charge of being Idle and disorderly. Her supervision order was cancelled, and a probation order was substituted. A boy of 14 was committed to the care of the Superintendent of Child Welfare on charges of burglary and theft Supervision fo» one year was ordered for a boy of 16 deemed to be not under proper control, and a girl of 15 charged with unlawfully taking a bicycle: three boys aged 16. on charges of theft and unlawfully taking motor-cars, restitution of £l3 Be Bd. £l4 19s 3d. and £l5 4s 3d being ordered; a girl aged 13 appearing on a complaint of delinquency and a theft charge, restitution of £23 13s 9d being ordered; a boy of 14 on charges of burglary and false pretences, restitution of £1 9s Bd being ordered; and a girt of 14 who appeared on a charge of unlawfully taking a Bicycle, an order being made that she live and work where directed; a boy, aged 13, charged with burglary, had his period of superviaton extended six months, and wm also ordered to make restitution of £1 ids 6d. nine, deemed to be not under and a 14-year-old boy charged with theft; two boys aged 14 and 15 for wilful damage, restitution of ’3s and motor-car: and a 16-year-old girl charged with theft, a fine <* .<* Bfao being being imposed.
