Obituary
MISS M. MAGILL (NJZ. Prats Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. A retired schoolteacher who had an outstanding record of public service, Miss Margaret Magill. M.8.E., of Eastbourne, died today in the Hutt hospital after a long illness. Miss Magill was a former president of the New Zealand Educational Institute, an office she held in 1934, and a member of the Dominion executive of the Red Cross Society, which she represented at the International Red Cross conference in New Delhi in 1957.
She also served on the Road Safety Council as representative of women’s organisations from 1939, a term longer then that of any other member.
