(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— CopvrigM) MOSCOW, November 6. The technical difficulties which were overcome in the launching of the Soviet spaceship now on its way to Mars were "greater than anything encountered heretofore,” Professor Leonid Sedov, Soviet scientist, said in "Pravda” today. In the article the scientist said the rocket was launched from a heavy satellite, which -equired split-second accuracy in switching on the engine. He said it had also been necessary to develop “fundamentally new systems” for the flight, which would take seven months.
