Women Win In Argentina (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) BUENOS AIRES. November 4. Mrs E. Rosquist and Miss U. Wirth, two blonde Swedish girls made racing history today by winning the Argentine Grand Prix for standard cars. They gained additional distinction by becoming the first drivers ever to capture all the six laps of the contest, the Associated Press said. They drove a Mercedes 220SE. Most of the race was run over unpaved mountain roads. The women left nearly 300 men drivers trailing behind as they roared across the finish line. Reuter reported. They won all six stages of the rally, five of them in record time. The event ended at a spot on the open road about 100 miles from Buenos Aires, which was disclosed only at the last minute to prevent crowds mobbing the winning team. Mrs Rosquist, aged 28 and her 25-year-old co-driver covered a total of 2715 miles in less than 35 hours' driving for an average speed of 79 miles an hour The women won by more than three hours.
