Fixtures arranged for this week are: Saturday, October 27. first round of the Christchurch centre’s pennants and three fours championships and the Robinson Shield; Sunday, October 28, tournaments at Christchurch WJW.C. and Woolston W.M.C. The Cashmere Bowling Club had a successful week-end with the annual fixture for the Graham Cup on Saturday and an all-day tournament on Monday. The Graham cup was won by A. S. Drayton. W. H. Bowles, I. J. Dann and G. R. Crossen (skip) with four wins. On Monday six teams finished with three wins each and the play-off resulted in a win for P. Dunn, W. Porteous, W. Haigh and J. Wilson (skip). A team induding three members of the Empire games four failed to qualify in two competitions at a tournament at Mount Roskill, Auckland, during the weekend. The team comprising J. H. Rabone, R. E. Pilkington, W. P. O’Neill and a former All Black, J. G. Simpoon. was eliminated in the RoakiH Memorial cup competition and in the consolation fours. In the cup competition they had four wins in six games, toeing to P. J. Hynds (Manurewa), 17-2 L and C. Holloway (Carlton), 9-19. Christchurch Women’s Bowling Centre’s fixtures for tins season are: Inter-dub competitions on October 24. November 7 and 21, December 5 and 12, and Janu•ry 16 and 30; November 14, Rooebowl competition with headquarters at toe Morrison avenue green; November 28. Sampson Trophy contest between Chrietetnirch and South Cantertxsry at Timoru; December 13, Elderly ladies day for women over 60 at toe Burwood green. The two-year-| old Morrison Avenue club opened one of the biggest I modem style pavilions in Christchurch.
