India Seeks U.S. Arms

The American Ambassador 'Dr. John Galbraith) discussed in New Delhi the possibility of supplying American arms to India with deferred payment during an interview with Mr Nehru. It i* believed India is seeking Cl3O Hercule* high-altitude transport aeroplanes from the United States, but does not want them a* military aid.
