Martin, the representative in Britain of the New Zealand Meat Board, said the board’s objectives in exhibiting at the fair were first to discover whether Belgian housewives Like New Zealand lamb; second, to learn about Government procedures in meat trade practices in Belgium; third, to learn about housewives meat-eating habits; fourth, to find some meat wholesalers and retailers who would be willing to seU New Zealand lamb throughout the year; and fifth, to explore ways of overcoming any obstacles to the development of a market for New Zealand Lamb and other types of meat Ln Belgium.
