Buttermilk Powder And Casein Record quantities of casein and buttermilk powder were produced during the 1961-62 season, but there was a decline in the production of skim milk powder and condensed and dried whole milk, powder, says the Abstract of Statistics. In the 1961-62 season. 35,498 dons of casein and 17,418 tons lot buttermilk powder were produced, compared with 30.589 tana and 17,104 tons respectively for the previous season. I Stocks of casein were higher than usual during the season. At the end of June, 1982, there were 12,332 tons in stock, compared with 6253 tons at the end of June, 1981, and 3990 tons at the end of June. 1909. 1 The production of skim milk powder declined from 42.805 tons in 1960-61 to 41,675 tons. Production of condensed and dried whole milk powder declined from j 16,660 tons to 14JMB tons. -
