Another 15,000 Dollars (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE, October 16 The offer to R. Laver to turn professional was last night raised by 15,000 dollars to 100,000 dollars. Professional troupe representatives, K. Rosewall and A. Cooper, who arrived in Brisbane from Europe late yesterday. made the new offer to the "grand slam" champion. • The renewed professional offer has come while Laver is negotiating with an American tobacco firm for a reported £4450 a year lifetime job to remain amateur. Laver, who has had professional offers in the last year varying from 35.000 to 50.000 dollars, was offered 85.000 dollars to turn professional in America last month.
