PROSPECTS OF N.Z.F.C.
Period Of Change Foreseen New Zealand was entering a “period of change" in his view, said the chairman of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd.. Mr C. P. Agar, at the annual meeting of shareholders yesterday. Whilst there might be some reduction in net earnings generally in the year ahead. “We are carrying forward a substantial sum in our profit and loss appropriation account equal to approximately two years' dividends at existing rates," he said. (The accounts showed carry-forward at £ 139.290 and dividend requirement £69,922.)'
