Injured When Car Hits Bank

The condition of a girl who was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with head and leg injuries early yesterday morning after a car had run into a bank on the Summit road was satisfactory, the hospital reported last evening. The girl, Lynette Roderique, aged 17, of 27 Canterbury street. Lyttelton, was a passenger in the car. It is believed the driver, Mr N. Collins, steered the car into the bank when the brakes I failed.
