Sir,—Your leader today deserves full marks tor Its excellent analysis of American thinking. It ia hardly believable and quite frightening to what extent the abysmal fear of communism felt in the United States clouds the issue and causes the sense of proportion to be lost A glance at a map shows the utter absurdity of any threat by tiny Cuba against giant America. If American leaders would look at Formosa they would are there the same pattern of their position versus Cuba, only in the revens.—Yours, etc, O. STRICKER. October 11, 1962.
