50,244 TV Licences
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 9. With a further 488 licences issued in September the number of licensed television sets in New Zealand now stands at 50,244. Post Office figures for the various licensing districts are: Auckland 27,589. Christchurch 10.413, Wellington 9220, Dunedin 1630, Hamilton 1392.
