Police were hunting today the “Tiger Woman” a notorious woman murderer, who escaped from the Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix last night Mrs Winnie Ruth Judd, aged 57, nicknamed the “Tiger Woman" at the time of her conviction in 1931, was found guilty of murdering two women and packing oft their dismembered bodies in a couple of trunks and a suitcase, the Associated Press reported. The hospital superintendent (Dr. Samuel Wick) said today he did not think Mrs Judd was dangerous. Mrs Judd, whose death sentence was cummuted after she was found to be insane, has escaped on six previous occasions.
