They will be put to shareholders at the annual meeting on November 1. The capital proposed involves creating another 40m 5s ordinary shares.
Business Personal
Mr L. H. I. Watson, general manager of the Northern Building Society, has been appointed to the council of the International Union of Building Societies. It is the first time a New Zealand delegate has held this office. Mr S. Milne, of the Royal Exchange Assurance Corporation, Ims retired after 45 years’ service with that office. A presentation was made to Mr Milne at a farewell function arranged in hie honour.
