The ninth annual tournament of the Canterbury Veterans' Golf Club was played this week at the Waitikiri course over four days. House Fire.—Minor damage was done to the outside wall of a house at 60 Knowles street, St. Albans, when it caught fire about 2 p.m. yesterday. The occupier of the house is Mr Richard Worsley. Engines from the St. Albans and Central stations attended.
