Boy Flown To Hospital
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, Sept. 25. A Marlborough Aero Club Cessna, fitted with a stretcher and carrying a doctor, made a flight to D’Urville Island yesterday afternoon to bring out a young Maori boy who had swallowed some tablets and another substance thought to have been a hair shampoo. The boy is now in Wairau Hospital. Blenheim, where his condition was reported today as satisfactory. The boy. Rewa Hau, aged 34, of Porirua, was staying with his mother at the farm of Mir and Mrs T. Rene, near the northern end of D’Urville Island.
