Along Blenheim road, the new lights wi!s be connected up from existing power poles along the side of the road. A fitting will be placed at the top cf the poles, giving a 10ft overhang for the lights over the carriageway - Progress on this stage of the project w»s dependent on the supoly of sodium vaoour lamps frem overseas, raid a Ministry cf Works spokesman yesterday Recs't’ton Borough Council linesmen were yesterday installing extra temporary street lighting on Mcorhcuse avenue near the sal eyards corner for the convenience of patrons of Sole Bros circus in South Hagiey Park
