TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILDS
The twenty-fifth anniversary next year of the New Zealand Federation of Townswomen’s Guilds, was among the subjects discussed at the Dominion federation’s annual executive meeting, held in Christchurch. The next Dominion biennial conference would be held at Wellington, where the federation was first formed, in honour of the anniversary year, said the Dominion president (Mrs A. L McKay, Grey mouth) yesterday. Mrs McKay, accompanied by the Dominion secretary (Mrs R. H. Smith, Christchurch) will today attend the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Timaru guild.
