No Barrier To Migration

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON Sept. 19. There are no longer legal obstacles standing between 17-year-old Scottish orphan Kenneth Mcßride and a life of opportunity in New Zealand. He is free to come to this country as soon as arrangements can be completed. The Secretary of Labour (Mr H. L. Bockett) said today a cablegram had been sent to the New Zealand immigration officer in London advising that the temporary withdrawal of the boy’s permit to travel to New Zealand had been reviewed and the entry permit reinstated. The boy was to have left Britain for New Zealand on September 12.
