Kaiapoi Div., Profit Up
Recommended annual dividend of the Kaiapoi Woollen Manufacturing Company. Ltd., Christchurch, has been raised from 8 per cent, (paid for the last four years) to 10 per cent. In a preliminary report, profit for the year ended July 19 (subject to audit) is given as £65.041. This figure, a record, represents a rise of £8783 or 15 6 per cent, on last year's figure.
F.T.C. Proposals Approved (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 19. Proposals for a one-for-two bonus issue and the subdivision of the existing £1 ordinary shares into 5s units were approved by an extraordinary general meeting of the Farmer’s Trading Company. Ltd., yesterday' The meeting also approved cash bonuses out of unappropriated profits amounting to approximately Is 2d a £1 share to the holders of A preference shares and approximately 5s BJd a £1 share to B preference shareholders. Approval was also given to several proposed changes in the company's articles of association
