Boys Escape To West
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BERLIN, Sept. 18 East German border guards pelted a West Berlin sentry with cobblestones last night, West Berlin police said today.
The sentry threw two tear gas grenades across the border wall at Bernauerstrasse, where three boys aged 13. 14 and 15 escaped into West Berlin late yesterday. The boys found a way into a border house walled up by the East German authorities and knocked at the bricks of a cellar until West Berliners tore a hole and got them out.
