Focus On Country This Week
The Health Denartmen.t's Sabin oral anti-pollomyelitis vaccination campaign will be c ncentraited on persons in country areas during this third week of the project An estimated 192,000 persons are in the areas concerned Yesterday, 3957 persons in the Christchurch district received doses, bringing the toW for the week to date to 90,729. At the end of last week 84.000 persons in Christchurch bad been vaccinated, about 52.000 doses having been administered in the first week. The campaign has been in operation more than half the p anned time, but the number of persons treated is 10 000 fewer then 50 per cent, of the number it is hoped to immunise. Today vaccinations will be distributed as follows: — Health Department, 9 am to 5 pm.: Maes X-ray Department. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; A orang: School dental chnic, 9 am. to 5 pro : Bishopdale School dental clinic. 7 o.m to 7 pm; St. David's Hail. Bclfart, 9 am. to 330 pri.: Paparua County offices. 9 a.m to 4 pm.: Te Pirita Hall. 10 am to 4 pm : school-house Port Levy. 930 am to 11 am • Governor’s Bay Community Centre. 1 pro to 4W nm : West Melton Hall. 930 S m to noon: Halkett Hall. 12 30 pro. to 4 pm.: Darfield Memorial Hall, 10 am to 4 p.m.: Glenroy School. 930 a m to 1030 am.: South Malvern School, 11 a.m to noon: G'entunnel School. I pm- to 4pm: Prebbleton School, 8 30 am. to 1130 am.: Ladbroota Hall, 2 p.m. to 4 pm.
