ADDINGTON TRIALS
Best Time By Gay Robin
Fastest time of 3min 23 l-3sec was recorded by Gay Robin when five qualifying heats were run at Addington yesterday. Only seven of the 20 placed horses qualified, the pace in most heats being very slack for
the first six furlongs. Gay Robin won the fifth heat, in which all four placed horses qualified A three-year-old colt by Johnny Globe from Shadow Maid, he is trained at Prebbleton by A M. Purdon for Mr G. Chesmar.
The other winner to qualify was Garco d’Or, which recorded 3min 23 2-ssec. A three-year-old gelding by Captain Adios from a good trotting mare in Scotch Paree, he is trained at Yaldhurst by G. B. Noble for Mr R. A. McKenzie, of Wellington Results:—
