Long Voyage Ends
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Sept. 14. -Sailing his snail, 50-year-cjd yacht. Salty, singlehanded ail the way from Colombia, Artur Menkhoff. of Cblogne, Germany, arrived in Whangarei from Tonga last night. “Sailing” is the key word at 36-ye<.r-old Mr Menkhoff. v?bo started out from Hamburg on April 13. 1961, with a companion as far as Panama, had to rely on sail and himself alone when the engine broke down shortly after entering the Pacific.
